Sandy Kriz
Born and raised in a hindu family with very strong spiritual practices with great
influence from my grandparents Kishna and Nanan Sooknanan. My Grandmother left Gonda,
India in 1908 to then British Guiana (now Guyana) and brought with her a bundle
of goodness in the form of kindness, love, devotion and respect. And she passes
those traits on to us. . .

Kathy (Rekha) Hogan
Kathy (Rekha) Hogan has been practicing yoga for 37 years. She has a 500 hour certification
having competed Level I and Level II Amrit Yoga teacher training as well as Yoga
Nidra Facilitator Training through the Amrit Yoga Institute. She is a 500 RYT member
of Yoga Alliance. Kathy has also lead "yoga hikes" taking yoga off the mat and onto
the trails of our. . .

Ron
Ron gives thanks for the opportunity and volition to practice yoga in this lifetime.
Ron's journey on the path of yoga began, unbeknownst to him at the time, in his
early teens when his aunt took him to have his palm read. The fortune teller said
"You need to learn to stand on your head" Some 15 years later, Ron had just started

Sari Skinnider
Sari Skinnider's first power yoga class in 1999 started her down the path of yoga.
The calmness in the mind and the flexibility in the body after yoga class has kept
Sari going on learning more and teaching others about the importance of breathing
correctly as well as keeping the body healthy by practicing yoga postures correctly
Most of her classes are taught in a flow or vinyasa. . .

Shelley
Shelley’s first encounter with Yoga was in High School. Knowing hardly anything
about it, she signed up for a class to make up for missing Gym credits and loved
it. However, life took her in a different direction and she couldn’t practice regularly
until nine years ago, when she met Yoga teacher, Lori Ruben, trained in Hatha Yoga
at Kirpalu. . . .
