Ron
gives thanks for the opportunity and volition to practice yoga in this
lifetime. Ron’s journey on the path of yoga began, unbeknownst to him at the
time, in his early teens when his aunt took him to have his palm read. The fortune teller said “You need to learn to
stand on your head.” Some 15 years
later, Ron had just started to practice yoga.
On a snowy February night, Ron was the only student to show up to
class. When the teacher asked “Have you
ever done Headstand?” the seed that lay
dormant for so many years sprouted, and from this one pose a casual exercise
blossomed into a spiritual practice. Ron
teaches in the vinyasa style, linking movement with breath, training the body
to train the mind. His goal is to create
a challenging, non-competitive environment where students can plant or awaken
the seeds to grow their own practice.
Strength and flexibility are not pre-requisites--as long as we practice
with full effort, we attain full victory.
Ron is a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance, and he bows in
gratitude to his teachers and theirs, and to all the students, who are his
teachers as well.
